Hazel Foxon has been providing freelance communications services to galleries, arts centres and artists across East Anglia since 2011.
Before setting up her consultancy Hazel spent 10 years working in media relations and marketing in the visual arts and heritage sectors. She has worked in communications for world-renowned organisations including the National Portrait Gallery (London), the National Galleries of Scotland and English Heritage and is responsible for many high-profile international press campaigns including Mario Testino: Portraits and David Beckham by Sam Taylor Wood. She also has extensive experience of working with film crews and has collaborated with major broadcasters on numerous television documentaries.
Hazel read History of Art at the University of St Andrews, followed by a Graduate Diploma in Museum and Gallery Studies. She lives and works in Hertfordshire.
